Hey there! I'm Heather, the owner and creator of Pawsitively Yours. As a fellow pet lover, I wanted to make some fun, unique products that I’d totally love myself. Living with a disability (Functional Neurological Disorder) means I have my ups and downs but I’m all about making something special that I can work on, no matter what.
Want to find out more about Functional Neurological Disorder? It is a rare condition and unfortunately is not very well known. It can be extremely difficult to live with and finding ways to thrive at life can be tough, so starting my own business has been a dream come true. I hope you find something here that brings a smile to your face and celebrates the joy of having pets!
My Furry Team
I haven't started this alone, I have my very helpful furry team alongside me. I have two cats - Moose is a black Bengal cross (my cheeky boy) and Elk is a cutie pedigree Bengal rescue (my beauty with a classic orange cat brain - no brain cells!).
Moose likes to spend his day lurking around the local birds and being too clever for his own good - he even managed to unlock my back door once! Elk enjoys the finer things in life, playing with any toy - or wrapper - she can find, and getting a good chin scratchy. But they both love to give plenty of design input when they're on my lap demanding fusses, or when they're playing and run over my laptop!
